help! i need info on using a pc screen with a ps3 using the hd output.?
im looking for a cheap alternative for a high def. screen for my ps3. tv’s are just too expensive so i found a pc screen at a nice price.

because it has dvi connections i was wondering if i used a dvi adaptor could i connect the High Definition output of my ps3 into the dvi cable? would it display a high definition image with a 1690 x 1050 resolution and a responce time of 5ms?
would it show 720p 1080i or 1080p?
also what adaptors would i need to get to do this?
any help would be great – 10 points for the best answer
Yea the monitor will work with an adapter from radioshack but they can be pricey and I don’t know which resolution it would be.
