How much to spend per child for party favors?
I am throwing my son a 3rd birthday party. About how much should I spend per child guest on party favors? I’d like to include this really neat activity book on bugs (the theme), but they are $6.00 a piece. What do you think?
I already have chosen stickers, gummy bugs, pencils all in a basket. I’m flexible, though, something else can go, I imagine.
Should also add that the activity book comes with 3 crayons and is more of a coloring book, but with some learning factors in it. Also, the kids range from 3 all the way to 6 years.
I would think that for the price, children just turning 3 won’t get much out of an activity book. Stickers are always popular and the gummy bugs sound great.
For what it’s worth (for you or anybody reading this), some of the best gifts I ever got for preschoolers have been retractable measuring tapes (made for sewing, not hardware, so they didn’t snap back hard), and rolls of masking tape.
