Pads Feathers

Down filled bed pad?

I have a down filled bed pad and I have a problem with the feather poking out and scratching the crap out of me. Is there any advise out there to help stop this? I really enjoy the softness but not the scratching.

There are covers/liners that zip around feather beds that are good, I even have a mattress pad on mine.
HSN has a good variety of both.
