can you suggest another colour for my wedding?

trying to make a wedding on a tiny budget having scoured ebay and car boot sales, i first got the ivory cake boxes with a gold heart on the front.so the invites will be ivory with a gold ribbon at the side and the centred gold heart.next came gold disposable cameras and gold organza bags with more hearts.oh, and some gold balloons, then guess what? gold clutch bags with a large diamonte for the brides maids.now enough of the gold i think,except the cake of course have to carry through the gold heart theme there! gold hearts on ivory (or white) cakes.but now with the gold clutches what shall the ladies wear?ivory ? green? help me pull this together please. oh by the way i will be in white and h2b also.the groomsmen will use the girls colors with their suits(that color also undecided so far).

gold and silver are complimentary colours which means they go with anything.

If your having a summer wedding try something summery like pink or coral green or a turquoise. If your having a autumn or winter wedding try red, purple, orange or green.

the best thing to help you decide is to get a bridesmaid to go aorund and try on dresses in different colours, this will help you greatly. You may decide on a colour to realise it doesnt look good in a dress etc so get them to try it on.
