Organza Plain

Organza Plain
Wedding Reception Help!?

I am trying to find an affordable way to decorate my church’s fellowship hall to look really elegant on a small budget. Some ideas that I have are draping tulle with lights from the ceiling and in the corners, placing flowers around, and having a lattice with organza where the cake will go. That all will look good I think, if you have any suggestions please help!
I am really concerned about the tables and chairs because they are standard plain metal and plastic. The budget is tight already but with the tables covered in cheap paper stuff that the church has, you can see the metal legs and it ruins the whole effect. What would be the cheapest way to cover the tables? Is there any really cheap fabric I can just drape? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Orientaltrading.com has some of the best things for so very little. I am on a tight budget too and I know that this is where I am going to get most of my stuff. The other idea I had was to go to ebay. Here is what I am doing for my centerpieces. I loved the look of manzanita branches draped with crystals and candles. But it is expensive. So, I bought plastic vases at the dollar store that look like cut crystal. I am planning to cut branches off of trees and spray paint them silver. Then I will hang the crystals, “plant” the branches, and put the vases on glass with votive candle holders underneath. I know that it will look classy and with the lights dimmed down low you will think I spent a fortune. Get creative and you will see what amazing things you can come up with.
