Mold Jewel

Mold Jewel
Can anyone translate this?

Im aware its in english but I can’t understand one word of it.

Its a poem from a guy to a friend.

Sumerian Fanfare, Renounce the caterpillar state
Mould me in the aspect of the Achaemenids
and supplant the dance of the three limbed octopus

Behold the pride of Amorica!
How the daughter of Njord appals you
The futility of alchemy is reborn in your presence
and crowns you in the manifestation of the Buhen Cataract

Eclipsing stellar ancestors with nonchalance
You stride among the Oligocene megafauna
In defiance of Venetian affluence
Enshrined by the jewels of Merv

Arise my manifold Patagonian floorboards!
Pave our transcendent voyage in phantasmagorical cedar
In defiance of infernal cyborg trade unionists
We embrace the turkey of reheated ecstasy

For the castle of Vedic prophecy lies not on the Tigris
Just as lighter serenades elude the uneaten baguettes
In the oligarchic metropolis of space-time
Our celestial paths entwine

I’d say its nonsensical gibberish (and that’s not meant to be an offensive phrase): it is a collection of names from many fables, myths and other stories – if the reader can make a connection to those stories the poem becomes even more nonsensical and therein lies its beauty… Lewis Carroll styled, though I think the writer of this poem does not have the same classical education and thus it is shallower than ‘traditional nonsensical poetry’. I find it a cool piece nevertheless!

Sumerian Fanfare – relates to the Jat whose customs are those of Vedic Arians
Achaemenids – relates to the Achaemenid Empire (Persia, Iran etc)
The three limb-ed octopus – I can’t find that one right now…

Amorica is the third album by The Black Crowes, what it does here I have no idea
Njord: in Norse mythology this is one of the Vanir and the god of wind, fertile land along the seacoast, as well as seamanship, sailing and fishing.
Buhen was an ancient Egyptian settlement situated below the Second Cataract

etc… so you see it does not really make sense. If you want to know more do a Wikipedia search on the keywords…
