Miniature Wooden
Dog chewing?

We have a ten month old miniature Bull Terrier and although he is otherwise loving and gentle we do have one problem. Whenever we have to go out we put him in the spare room which has a door with glass panes in it. We always make sure he has some toys and food in the room with him but he keeps going back to chewing the wooden joints between the glass panes. We have tried everything to stop him chewing, we put toys in with him, we put nasty tasting things on the door. But he still keeps chewing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

cover the glass – he thinks he can chew through the “bars” that he sees and get out. Just tack hardboard over or something until he grows out of it in a few months time.
