Is there a future for my mini-tomato plant?

I have a mini-tomato plant at home and it’s growing like crazy – it’s more than 4 feet tall with countless flowers. Now I hear that I shouldn’t have let it grow that big, and should have trimmed it when it was smaller. Indeed, none of the flowers are showing any signs of turning into tomatoes. They just bloom and fall off. The plant itself is about 5 months old. Is there any future for it, can I do something to still get some nice tomatoes from it?

Yes ive heard that you should trim tomato plants so they can put more energy into the tomatos that theyre growing. and it dosen’t have to worrie about puting more energy into growing, and they say this gives you bigger better tomatos, but honestly I don’t think it matters I have some tomato plants at my house and I just let them grow. I still get tomatos and they still taste the same. And as for the flowers falling off thats just because they’re not getting cross polinated with another plant. You need two or three tomato plants to get tomatos. Buy another tomato plant that produces tomatos and put it next to your other one and yours should start producing tomatos in a cople weeks.
