How much does a custom-made glass desk cost?

Size: approx. 2 meters by 1 meter, 6ft by 3 ft
Glass must be able to withstand five to six times the weight of an LCD monitor at the weakest point (center) at a base of radius 18cm or 0.5 ft
Four metallic support rods.
I searched the Internet for hours to find such a glass table but none of them fit. I’m looking for something very simple of quality and aesthetics – no extras.

It depends on what you mean by “simple” Most of the desk is going to be a structure to support the several hundred pounds of glass and it has to be stiff in itself – if fastened to the glass – say four rods drilled through the glass as legs – the strain from someone leaning sideways against the desk will almost certainly crack the glass. Typically, a desk of the kind you describe is a chromed metal frame welded to shape, polished and chromed with a lip into which the glass is set.
Oh, and glass is a surface you have to take care of – using it as a desk without protective pads under items – even including coffee mugs and glasses – will result in a scratched surface.
And with such a desk, if you have visitors, watch what your legs are doing as anyone can see them, including a skirt riding up for a woman user – no modesty panel.
