What kind of stone do I need to make steel,bronze,metal,iron,ect?

Im designing a sword and wondering what stone makes any kind of metal for the sword

Swords are make from metal not stone. Unless the sword is part of a stone sculpture. If you know nothing about metal working it will be a long road until you can make a sword.
