where do you get a leaf stone and metal coat in Pokemon Crystal?

You get the Metal Coat after you beat the Elite Four.

Here’s what’s next. Go talk to Professor Elm in New Bark Town and get the SS Aqua Ticket. Then head to Olivine City and enter the SS Aqua through the passage that was previously blocked by someone.

Now that you are on the SS Aqua, you can go around battling the gym trainers aboard. To get off you first have to find a man’s granddaughter who is with the captain of the ship. To get there you must find a lazy sailor who is in the room next to yours. Battle him so you can get past another sailor blocking your way later in the ship. Find the girl after going downstairs then upstairs with the captain, and you’ll be sent back to the Grandpa’s cabin. He’ll give you Metal Coat for all your troubles.

You can get the Leaf Stone in two ways:

1. On Route 34, or the entrance to Goldenrod City, find a trainer named Picnicker Gina. Battle her Grass Pokémons and don’t forget to register her number on your PokéGear. From time to time, she calls you either for a rematch or she has found another Leaf Stone. When she notifies you that she has found something, talk to her and she will give you the Leaf Stone.

2. One you get to Kanto, head at the top of Cerulean City. Find Bill’s Grandfather, he is at Bill’s former house at Route 25. First, show him a Lickitung and he will give you an Everstone. After that, show him an Oddish, and he will give you a Leaf Stone.
