When knights wore chain mail or the metal suit?
was there any way for them to go to the bathroom?
In Robin Hood when he takes his chain mail off there was another layer of cloth on his body, I guess so the metal would not rub against the skin. But i could not tell if there was an access for this.

I guess they might have had better control back then. And I guess sometimes there were accidents.
They were men of action…why would they require “access”–I rather think access would be for girly-boys?! I imagine ole Robin Hood just took care of business as he trotted along!
As for pit stops that DID require wardrobe adjustments, he, like good soldiers (and men of action) train themselves to go when it is CONVENIENT, not just because nature called!
Likely as not, THAT business was attended to at the end of his day, when the suit came off.
