One Tattoo, Two Tattoos?
Why I decided to get a tattoo.
So yeah, my name is Hank and this is why I got a tat.
I was 18 years old at the time. Ah, to be 18 again. Anyway. You can get a tattoo at a earlier time, though you need permission (or, as I call it: permish) from parents/guardian.
The idea of tattoos had slightly intrigued me and I sort of wanted to get one but I never felt really compelled to getting one. Ya know, I thought they were cool, but sometimes derelicts had tattoos, and I also knew that they were permanent. I had heard tattoo removal services did not work.
Anyhow, because I knew the tattoo would stick with me for life I made sure that my tattoo meant something to me. The whole logic again was because the tattoo is permanent. Eek! I did not want a bad situation to happen to henry.
What I Choose?
I chose a four leaf clover. There were a few reasons I chose the four-leaf clover. I love Ireland. So this reminds me of where my parents came from and where my roots lay before my ancestors traveled to the States.
Next what does a four leaf clover symbolize? It symbolizes good luck and positive fortune I have had a lot of fortunate experiences and opportunities in my reality. All of my family members love me and I love them. I had a priveleged upbringing. I am a healthy being (knock on wood.) If you don’t mind, here is a quick story about my good-fortune:
Today they are under control, but I have bad allergies. Man, it was terrible! I must have sneezed like 200 times a day, no lie. I had developed nasal polyps. Oh no! These polyps were a result of my untreated allergies. Before surgery I got a sweat test for cystic fibrosis, a lung disease. Cystic Fibrosis is a deadly disease. My test was negative. No cystic for me. But after the operation, my Dr. toldme that I was his only patient who did not have the fibrosis, but did have the polyps.
Where on my body did I get it?
Anyway, back to the main topic of this article. I got the shamrock tattoo on my left thigh. This is because the tattoo is for me and me alone. But anyway, sometimes today folks still judge you based on your tattoos. I chose my leg as it is only for me and most people don’t see it. It is key for situations like job interviews and so on and so forth.
My upper thigh is not that sensitive an area of my body; therefore getting the tattoo was not that unpleasant of an experience actually. I think that If I had gotten it done in a more sensitive area, like the back of the kneck, for instance, it would have been more unpleasant for certain.
Am I Going to get Another Tattoo?
I know a lot of fellas who say getting tattoos are addicting. I thought this was true especially at age 18. However, the four leafed clover is all I need for now. Is another one in store? Probably not. Do I have any regrets about my current tattoo? Absolutely not. I consider myself happy and fortunate to have this amazing piece of art displayed on my leg.
Besides tattoos, I write about printers. You can check out one of my writings here at my print blog. Free free to check out the HP Laserjet p2035n here. Thanks for reading my article.
