why do ppl put their shoes in zip lock bags?

what size is the bag? whats the reason?

The only time I have ever put my shoes in a plastic bag was when I bought a pair of shoes for a costume and bits of stuff on the sides kept flaking off (I don’t even know what these shoes are made out of, but stuff kept coming off) so I put them in a plastic bag so I could transport them with the rest of the costume and not get the costume dirty.

Other than that, I honestly don’t think I have ever seen shoes put in any type of plastic bag.

If you want a better answer, perhaps you should explain where and when you saw shoes in a ziploc bag?
