What does the red light in the digital speedometer of pulsar 150 indicate?

Hey, I am using my friend’s pulsar bike 150 cc 2007 edition and when i drive, the red light which is below the rpm meter glows.. What does that indicate? I am not talking about the side stand light here.. I am talking about the light that is just below the rpm meter.
