Can i change a light red tattoo to a darker color?

I got a light red star tattoo on my hand n my family think its gonna deal with gang issue
so i just wanna know can i change my light red to a dark color orange or another dark color?

Sure, dark will ALWAYS cover a light color. The same applies to ANY paint on the wall in your living room. It IS possible to add a white pigment over another, but NO guarantees it will STAY that way!
