What colour light would a black light bulb emit?

A red bulb emits a red light; a blue bulb emits a blue light. Would a black bulb emit a black light? In other words, if a black light bulb was switched on in the daytime would it suddenly turn a bright room dark?

Black absorbs light. If you turn on a black bulb, light won’t get through it.
