Im @ Amherst College Frost Library. This lady left her cell fone on table where she used computer near me. It has been on buzz / vibrate. Is it proper to answer it &/ or try to call her or not? She may have left building Or Not. Maybe take it 2 main desk when Im going. Judgement call! – Help.

While Im there the fone is sitting there buzzing. If she returns, great. If not or if another tries 2 take it then Ill deal w/ it. Thanx again, She came & got it. What if Im on the way 2 desk & she arrives & ask what Im doing w/ fone. Maybe calls security?
Yea theres an intercom / speaker system. They use it end of day tell peeps they close soon, etc.

Take it to the main desk. If she left already she will come back looking for it. If she hasn’t she will still look for it and at least if it is there she has a chance of finding it. If you leave it there someone not so honest might pick it up.
