Every bride and bridesmaid needs the perfect accent pieces to complete her look for the wedding day. The accessories for a winter wedding tend to be more grand and numerous than for summer nuptials. These are some of the most gorgeous winter wedding accessories.

Some brides actually choose a winter wedding because they are so excited to indulge in a gorgeous wrap or stole. The bride will feel incredibly elegant in a white fur piece. Since people tend to dress more festively in the winter months anyway, you can go a little bolder with the crystal bridal jewelry than you might in the summertime. For the bridesmaids, sets of crystal bridesmaid jewelry to complement the color of their dresses makes a lovely gift from the bride. No outfit is complete without the right shoes. Wondering if a dressy sandal is okay? It is, as long as it looks like New Year’s Eve, not the 4th of July. If you choose a golden or silvery shoe, you won’t be sorry. For a more wintery flavor, look at velvet flats or pumps. Brocade shoes are elegant and sophisticated for a winter wedding. Avoid the temptation to try to make a summer dress shoe work for a winter wedding.

Then it is on to the last little touches. The bride and her attendants will all need little bags; silk or beaded clutches are ideal. If you wish to add a seasonal accent, pin a sparkly snowflake brooch to the bag. Opera length gloves are a stunning addition to a strapless wedding dress. What a lovely detail it will be with your wedding dress. Add a chic hair ornament and a veil, and you will be ready to head to the chapel to tie the knot!
