Does Black go with Ivory & Gold?

Im getting married on the 4th of july. the original colors i picked was black, gold, and ivory. but people started to tell me “you sure u want to use black!” i just want some opinions. should the bridesmaid dresses be black? Would black dresses for the bridesmaid look right?

It would go with the dress, but it depends on the formality of the wedding. I am having my bridesmaids wear black, but my wedding is a black tie event. If you are having a day time wedding, or less formal, I would suggest a different color, or staggering colors (one black, one champagne, one black, one champagne, etc.). This dress looks great in both black and champagne, but doesn’t necessarily match your dress.

Regardless of what people say, you should use what you like. I think black looks stunning, and is an excellent choice for bridesmaids because it looks good on everyone.
