why my cockatiel hen is picking her chicks feathers until they bleed?

i have 3 babies cockatiel that have 12,10 and 8 days old but yesterday i noticed that their mom started picking their feathers after she feed them or sometimes without feeding them. one of them is the most injured he is bleeding. i want to know if i can let them in the box or if i have to start hand feeding them. please help!!

The cockatiels blood is sweet and when they start picking their feathers they develop a taste for the blood.
Put a pinch of salt into their drinking water and they will soon stop.
Had a cockatiel once and she did that ,the poor thing was almost bald…
the vet told me about the salt trick and also gave her calcium drops…
Her feathers never grew back totally ,but she was a great bird….Miss you ,Nicky.
