Probably one of the nicest ways to express respect and sympathy when a family member dies is to send flowers. Depending on how well you knew the person that has passed away different types of flowers can be sent.

Generally fresh flower arrangements and funeral baskets are sent to colleagues and wreaths, casket sprays and crosses sent to close family members. You can also send green plants and dish gardens to the funeral home or even to the family which are popular with work colleagues.
