how do i attach a ribbon to a handmade card?

hiya, im planning on making my own vow renewal invitations and im looking for some advice please. i want to attach some satin ribbon to a card then attach some organza ribbon to the satin. what would be the best way to attach the satin ribbon to the card and the organza ribbon to satin ribbon?

I prefer to use double sided tape. You can get a big roll at a craft store and it is inexpensive. The tape does not have to be cut with scissors. You can apply it to the satin ribbon, tear it off at the right length, peel off the backing then apply the satin to the card. Then apply the tape to the organza and attach it to the satin ribbon:

Another way to back ribbon with effective stickiness is to use a Xyron machine. This allows you to run several pieces of ribbon through it at once, then peel them off and use them as you wish, when you wish. Here is some info about one small Xyron machine:
