Is it a silly idea to give my boyfriend a handmade pillow for a first christmas pillow?

Okay so for Christmas I made my boyfriend a little pillow with this sea shell fabric. Because we both love the ocean. Is this a silly, odd idea? I just do not know what to do. I thought that this might be good what do you think? Btw we are still in high school. We have been dating for 3 months.

of course it is not dumb, that is ADORABLE!!!!! that will be perfect.
