Personalized Candle Holders

Decorating with candles and candle holders is one of the many inexpensive and creative ways to add a touch of elegance and creativity to any party or event. Consider using different shapes of beads in contrasting colors for more variety. You can also wrap them by twisting the wire into knots for added texture.

Candle holders with stems work best for this next idea. Long stemmed holders have a wide base to keep the top stable. If you have glitter dust, cover the base of the candle holder with glue and sprinkle the glitter dust all over the base to cover the whole area. Dust of the excess glitter and you will find yourself with a personalized candle holder that is so glittery. The light coming out from the candle in the holder above the base will reflect on the glitter and create a whimsical and beautiful look.

If you do not want your holders to be decorated, you can decorate the candles that are used. If you have thicker candles such as pillar candles, you can press the beads into the surface of the candle. A warm candle is makes it easy to press the beads in. seed beads work great for this kind of decoration but you can use any type of beads you like. Press them according to a desired pattern or randomly press the beads around the candle surface. Again, you can use beads of different sizes to create and interesting effect as well as beads of different colors.

Another way for personalized candle holders is by etching them or imprinting them with unique messages, sayings or quotes. If you are not the crafty type, you can use the power of words to let your guests know that you appreciate their presence by including witty quotes. For a birthday party, use these candle holders as party favors and include messages such as ‘Birthdays are nature’s way of telling us to eat more cake’. These kind of quotes will make your guests laugh at not only the humorous approach, but remember you as a fun-loving and cheerful friend.
