How come my mum won’t buy me frilly underwear?

My mum and I went shopping the other day and we walked past the lingerie section and there was so many beautiful pieces of sexy lingerie. I asked my mother if she would purchase a particuarly lovely g-string with frills and a cross like Jesus’s dangling on a small chain on the front. She refused because I was only twelve. Is this selfish or is it just me?

She might not really have refused because you were twelve. That might have just been an excuse and there are a few other reasons other than your age. Maybe she was short of money to buy them or she might have thought your father would not have agreed with you wearing them. Some fathers are like that and think that they do not look so good on twelve year old boys. But some boys I know wear them without their father or mother knowing. They sound like a pretty pair to me so you could try getting somebody else to buy them but where will you wear them and who will get to see them?
