Can you soften a dried starfish?

I have some little dried starfish that I want to use in a craft. They are flat and I would like them to be slightly rounded? Can I soak them or steam them to soften them?

You can try soaking them and place them over something round, like the back of a spoon, and then wrap tightly with plastic wrap and see if they will dry that way.
