How can I avoid getting a killer headache everytime I lay back and head flat in bathtub with legs in the air?

padding? A sponge? I need to lay on my back flat and absorb salty water.

I finally have met someone that resorts to the same method to stop PAIN, the headache part I don’t have, but the padding is a good idea! the position of your neck is probably contributing to the pain, you may want to consider overdoor traction, you may have pressure on C1-7 spine. Traction of 5-15 lbs can relieve this pain but may be indicative of trouble down the road or a more invasive procedure, start with obvious common sense remedies, try traction, position or flip over on your stomach and try gravity, if your pain or headaches are interupting sleep, life basic things then get your self checked out, don’t over look a more serious problem, but don’t worry or stress, which can give anyone a major headache too much. Rule out the obvious and if your concerned or symptomatic get to a doctor, good luck and I hope you feel better!
