Would the burton blunt snowboard be good for me?
I am 6 foot 2 inches, 170-180 lbs and I wear a size thirteen shoe but I can wear a size 12 Head snow boot. I have spent hours searching for boards and such, but I thought I would see what experts think. I don’t really live around a snowboard shop, so I’m relying on the internet. I had a stroke which impaired my left side with reduced flexibility. I was looking at this board package and wondered if it would be good-

I have gone boarding a few times and here is what I know.
-I have trouble tilting my foot back and catch the front of my board often. This is why I thought maybe a reverse camber would work better for me.
-right now I don’t do tricks but would learn once I’m better.
-I did better when I rode a slightly shorter board
- due to balance issues I need to be able to ride ‘regular’ and ‘goofy’
so what do you think. If not this board maybe you can make a suggestion.
Looks like it’s sold out? This board would be fine for you, but only if you get it in the wide. I would go with something around the 156 wide or 159 wide. You could stick with the 156 wide if you’re really still learning and want something easier to control. If you don’t go wide, you will definitely be looking at toe drag. The board itself however will be super easy for you to learn and progress on. It’s V rocker so you definitely won’t have as much problems catching your edges. It’s a very loose and playful feeling. If you can’t find your size, wait it out till 8/13. That’s when all the new Burton stuff will be online.
