Halloween Party Make Up Essentials
With Halloween coming up this weekend many people will be attending parties and wondering what makeup to purchase to obtain a fabulous frightening look to scare your mates. However traditionally people use powder and face paints but with day to day make up you can get the scary but super sexy ghoul or vamp look. Now days Halloween is not all about ghouls, ghosts, vampires and zombie looks but here are a few helpful hints and tips on how to create a brilliant halloween look using day to day make up.
To create that evileye look you could try brushing white make up powder all over your eyes and brows and then apply some black eye shadow all over and around your eyelids and gently blend this out. Not forgetting the dramatic [mascara]. This creates the effect that your eyes are empty black holes which is terrific if you want a scary Goth vampire or ghoulish look. Application of black [lipstick] is also a useful idea plus if you want a blood splatter effect on the side of your mouth then red lipstick is a winning combination. To spruce up your nails black nail polish is a must. Together with your Halloween costume you will look great and the beauty is if you wear makeup you will already have these items in your makeup bag so there is no extra cost too. Give the kids the face paints.
With a few changes and tweaks this type of look will also work really well if you are thinking of copying a film villain such as heath ledger as the Joker or maybe an even scarier character such as Voldemort from the Harry potter films. Plus the brand new Saw movie in 3D is due for release this weekend nationwide wide in the UK and if you love lots of blood, guts and gore you can be even more imginative with your Halloween look. A few props always come in really handy such as vampire teeth, a fake nose and a wig. If makeup is not for you then you can simply buy a mask but doesn’t that take all the fun out of it though?
