Epoxy Mold

Encapsulating flowers + such in clear epoxy, what do you..?
use for a mold that will allow the cured epoxy paperweight with the flower in it to break away and not look cloudy or rough? Do you have to polish it afterwards with automotive rubbing compound or whatever eyeglass places use on lenses?
I used a very light coat of WD40 and it came out fine. No polishing. The key is to go light. Spray a small amount on a rag, rub it like your trying to get it out of the mold instead of putting it into the mold. A light film is all it takes.
