Edged Satin

My edges are coming out of my hair I got a satin pillow but it still dries I got bonets but I it fall off when
I’m sleep what can I do.I put grease on my hair almost everyday. What can I do?
Sounds like you are at the early stages of traction alopecia. You might be wearing your hair pulled to tightly (either in braids or ponytails). If you are wearing your hair pulled back, stop! Also, if you are using greases or oils that have mineral oil in them you need to stop using those immediately as well. Mineral oil weakens the hair shaft. Try using natural oils like 100% shea oil. Oyin has fabulous smell good products that contain no mineral oils for ethnic hair. Check out their site at oyinhomemade.com.
Or, Once you’ve ruled out calcium or iron deficiency (through your doctor), see below.
Please try this remedy. It has worked for me and has enabled me to grow long natural hair. My edges are no longer brittle and hair and my hair is like butter to the touch! Take a cup of honey, and mix it together with mayonaise (i know it sounds gross but trust me). Mix together in a bowl and then put in the microwave for 45 seconds. Put it on your hair (concentrating on the edges) then put a plastic curl cap on. Leave it on your hair for at least an hour. When you are finished, rinse well but DO NOT WASH with shampoo. Instead pretend that your conditioner is shampoo and scrub your hair and scalp the same way you would with shampoo. Rinse well. Do this every week for optimum results.
