How to keep ribbon edges from fraying?

OK so im cutting a ribbon right.. well how do i keep the edges from fraying?
Its not like the paper looking ribbon, its fabric ribbon.
How do i keep the raw edges from fraying?
(im not going to be sewing this ribbon in anyway so any help?)

You can purchase a product called Stitch Witchery which is a fibrous tape that you iron to the wrong side of the ribbon and then cut it. The Stitch Witchery melts and disappears into the ribbon and keeps it from fraying once cut. You only need a small piece at the cutting point.
