My cat has something coming out of his butt?
He’s 3 years old, and he was just rubbing up and purring on me being really loving, then he sat down and got up and there was a wet spot on my bed where he was sitting.
So I looked at his butt, and he had this clear stringy thing hanging half way out of his butt hole and it looked all wet and watery and it smelt REALLY bad but it was not poop or anything. It was really thin and gross.
I don’t know what to do! Just looking at it made me want to barf. My mom said she thought it was something he swallowed and to pull it out but NO WAY JOSE! I’m not sure what to do!
It’s really gross and really creepy and I don’t know what to do!?!
P.S. My cat is obsessed with string. He always tries to eat ribbon, or strings, or hair ties, and since it was Easter on Sunday we’re pretty sure he probably ate some Easter grass since the Easter baskets were just laying around the house. Will he be okay?
I am going to the vet tomorrow at 1 pm. I just want to make sure he will be okay tonight.
I highly reccommend against pulling it out. If it is thread it could rub and cut his bowels if pulled. Please let the vet take care of it
