I don’t know what to wear???

So I have a football club Best and Fairest dinner/presentation coming up and I’m stuck on what to wear!! It is cocktail/semi-formal and I have bought 3 dresses and now I’m just confused!! I have narrowed it down to the one dress but I dunno how to wear it. It is a mini with multi coloured sort of dotty pattern in a satin material with wide black lining around the bust. I was going to just wear it with heels but it is really really cold in Victoria right now. I thought maybe dressy black pants or black tights?? I have longer black footless tights or shorter black footless tights with silver specks in ‘em. I know this is a long and confusing question but what do you reckon??

Wear the dress and heels even if its cold. Sometimes you have to suffer for fashion.
