My dogs gums are bleeding from chewing on a dog bone. She has never chewed on one before. Is this bad?

We got dog bone for small dogs for our dog to eat. Her gums are bleeding now because of the bone, but she loves eating it. Is this bad? Will she eventually become immune to this?

No, it’s just from the gums being scratched from the bone probably. Especially if the dog isn’t used to it. Kind of like how sometimes, humans mouths can bleed a little when brushing their teeth or flossing. That’s what bone chewing is for dogs, it cleans their teeth.
