Different Colors

How can I make sugar cookies different colors?

I bought Betty Crocker Decors Sugars in different colors. Do I have to frost the cookies before I sprinkle them on so the sugars will stick, or can I put the sugars on before I bake and have them stay on? I do not normally bake, EVER, but I am making these for a group picnic and want them to be perfect. Thank you!

Either one will work. Its up to you if you want to add frosting to the cookies and then the sugar. Or you can keep it simple with just adding the sugar on before baking and bake them that way. Well hope I helped out.
