Deep Cyan
Either avoiding Cyan cast in landscapes or removing them?
I have an EOS 400D digital camera as well as Photoshop CS2. This past weekend I took some beautiful landscape photographs. It was a clear day with deep blue skys. When I got the pictures in Photoshop nearly every one of the them had a Cyan colored sky rather than the deep blue. Now there wasn’t a blue-cast on the pictures, it was just the sky was a light colored cyan. For sake of clarity, I was not using any filter on the lenses.
In Photoshop I did reduce the exposure and the cyan did go back to the blue I remembered on that day; however, it also caused the subject of the picture to be underexposed.
Two questions: 1. How can I take a correctly exposed picture of the subject while also correctly exposing the background as well? 2. How can I correct my obvious exposure errors in Photoshop and still maintain true colors?
Try using polarizer filter.
In PS try reducing cyan only, (remember that cyan has green and blue so they will be afected too)
