How do I condition by female Betta to make her ready for my male betta?

I have a gorgeous female (Rhea) and male betta (Kronos). I would love to have them breed because I know that whatever they make will be beautiful. But my female has never had any signs of eggs even though I feed them freeze dried blood worms. Rhea has an irridesent peacock looking tail with a teal/greeny looking color. Kronos has curly, purply red fins and is over all a deep burgundy color. Also a good breeder’s blog would be nice to look at.

Feed both bettas live brine shrimp and live bloodworms (get them from a reputable store) for a few weeks (2-3 times a day). I advise people to only feed bettas once a day but the extra protein will help condition them. Breed in a ten gallon tank with shallow water and up the temperature to 83-84 degrees. put almond leaves in the water (it’ll turn the water to a light brown, this is normal). After they spawn, remove the female immediately.
