Crushed Velvet

Should I include a full or partial lining on a Renaissance -type dress? The material is crushed velvet?

Any other tips on sewing this type of dress are appreciated too! Thanks!

I would just line the Bodice. Velvet is heavy and a complete lining would really be heavier and more weight than one needs. especially if you are planning on wearing it to the encampments.
