What is the best method of connecting electrical wires?

I have an exam and just want to compare my answers
a)Solder with rosin core and shrink tube the connection
b)Twist wire ends together and tape the connection
c)Use crimp terminals and tape connection
d)Solder with acid core and shrink tube the connection

Correct answer is a. (rosin core) Wires twisted together easily pull apart. Acid core solid will over time cause a high resistance in the joint. Crimp terminals to join wire do not normally require to be taped.
