How can I make money this summer?

I am 13, going into freshman year and I really want some money for new clothes and stuff that I want for the coming school year. I am interested in making something (any easy, creative craft ideas?), or selling cosmetics (what companies?), or actually going out and getting a real store job. Any other money making ideas, my mom won’t give me money for doing chores and I volunteer at the library. I am pretty responsible and scared to try babysitting because I don’t have licensing of any kind and I’ve never done it before. So any ideas?

I say go for babysitting, if you’re good with kids. Just go to Red Cross and get the CPR certification and people will be more willing to hire you! If you dont want to, try having a yard sale, lemonade stand, bake sale, make jelery and sell it, lawn mowing, there are tons of options. I dont think that stores can hire people your age, but you could always try looking for stores that do. Also, be careful with your money. Dont splurge on things this summer and if you see something that you really like but it’s expensive, go online and I bet you can find it cheaper, or it will be on sale soon. Good luck
