Crafting Pom

Crafting Pom
Need Arts and crafts ideas!!!?

Okay so I’m an arts and crafts coordinator at a summer camp for kids ages 4 to 12… I need to come up with arts and crafts for these kids for 5 days a weeks for 6 weeks… i did this job last year and it was great, but i need to do different arts and crafts this year because its the same kids and i don’t want them to be bored. i cant ask the kids to bring in things like shoe boxes, i can only use what im given, but i have good standard art supplys like construction paper, glue, paper plates, paint, crayons, cellophane, LOTS of Popsicle sticks, pom poms… that stuff.. so anyone got any ideas what i can have the different ages make… usually the 4-7 ages do the same arts and crafts and then 8-12 do something a bit more since they are older…
THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS YOU CAN GIVE!!!!!!

You can do some of the following crafts with them:
- Let them make photo frames out of the popsicle sticks and decorate them.
- Necklaces, friendship bracelets with yarn and beads
- let them find a “pet rock” and paint it
- dreamcatchers
- you can make homemade ice cream with them using plastic bags and simple ingredients (if you’re allowed)
- paper plate port holes: http://crafts.kaboose.com/paper-plate-porthole.html
- pinwheels
- let them decorate a mask with sequins and anything you have on hand
- if its a sleep over camp let them decorate stationary and write a letter home about how much fun they’re having
- let them make and decorate their own bookmarks
- puppet making, and let them put on puppet shows

Just go wild with any ideas you have in mind and build ontop of ideas that worked really well the year before. Hope this helps :)
