Which Powell Craft Ladies Nightdress Is The Perfect Style For You?

Ladies nightdresses by Powell Craft are renowned for being exquisitely designed and made from the best quality materials. Many of the nightdress styles are inspired by original Victorian designs and every nightdress is handmade.

While all of the Powell Craft nightdresses are made from 100% cotton some of them are made out of lighter cotton than others so they are more suitable for warmer temperatures. Some of the nightdresses have long sleeves, some have short sleeves and some are sleeveless so the one you choose will depend on the season.

Most of the designs come in one size only but some have ties at the back or the sides to enable you to adjust the size to fit. If you prefer something more fitted you could choose one of these designs, such as the Alice, a lace-edged sleeveless nightdress with ribbon ties at the side. Or the Maria, a nightdress with strap sleeves and a ribbon tie under the bust.

Some of the Powell Craft designs are more loose-fitting, such as the Vivienne, a percale cotton nightdress with long embroidered sleeves, a collar and mother-of-pearl buttons down the front. Or the Prudence, a short sleeved, full-length nightdress; or the oversized, floaty Valentina nightdress with bat-wing style sleeves.

Some of the designs are full length and some are mid-length, such as the Maria, the Camilla, and the Nora, which is a white cotton sleeveless nightdress with a ribbon tie, rose embroidery and pearl seeding around the round neckline. The hem of the nightdress is ruffled with a ribbon trim.

Some designs feature intricate embroidery and ribbon details on them such as the Joanna with pale pink embroidered roses and pink ribbon detail, the Judy sleeveless nightdress with lilac flower embroidery and lilac ribbon detail, and the Rachael with seed pearl embroidered detail and button fastening.

Most Powell Craft ladies nightdresses are plain white but there are some more colourful and patterned designs, such as the Tiffany. This is a sleeveless nightdress with a subtle floral motif of delicate pink roses on a white background. It has a frill detail around the neckline and back ties.
