What type of frame for a sleep number bed?

I have a series 5000 queen sleep number bed and I can’t remember if I can use any type of queen bed frame or if it has to have a solid platform for the bed to lay or can it just have rails going across the bottom? (I’m talking about the bottom of the bed frame where the middle of the bed will rest not the outside frame that the corner/sides of the bed will set on.)

You did not say if you had mattress only or mattress and boxspring. I will assume you have both.

It will support the foundation / boxspring properly.

If you have a mattress only, you can only use a platform bed under it or place the mattress on the floor.
