How is the quality of silver-plated copper?

i saw some silver-plated copper bangles at a shop the other day. they were beautiful and well-priced at $10 each. the saleswoman said that their color would not fade, but my mom said that it would…i have never bought silver-plated copper jewelry before so i don’t know if i should buy them. do any of you guys know if this type of jewelry is good quality?

actually,we couldn’t judge the quality is good or not,because we don’t see your bangle.and price is quote by some factors,such as material,with stone or not,and plated technology and so on.
about plated,all most the color will fade.but if you don’t wear it or take good safeguard,the color will keep half a year.if not,may be it will fade color within 1month.
there has a kind of special electroplating,this process make plated color never fade.but because the cost and rejection rate are high.on the market,less factory do such electroplating.
so from your price,i think it just general plated method.
