Circle Pinwheel
Cookie contest, which would you prefer?
My daughter wants to enter a cookie contest at the fair. she has a few ideas for kid-like cookies, and I wonder which you would prefer. I know you can’t taste or see them, but what just sounds the most appealing. Thanks!
1. Hedwig Owl cookies – these would be made like pinwheel cookies which chocolate and vanilla cookie dough rolled up together and then sliced. Two circles would be the eyes, then the beak would be a cashew
2. Pinwheel cookies – these would be cut in squares with a popsicle stick handle, corners folded like a pinwheel toy, with a filling of jam or colored sugar.
3. Rainbow cookies. Again on the pinwheel cookie theme, various colors of sugar cookie dough rolled up and then sliced in circles, with the circles cut in half to make colorful looking rainbows.
4. Sour Patch Cookies – using the sour patch kids candies, chopped up in a sugar cookie dough, frosted and decorated with more sour patch kids
