Christmas Candy

Is it creepy to send the boy you fancy a candy cane at christmas telling them you like them?

I really fancy my next door neighbor, but whenever i am around him i get so tongue tied that he must think i am a complete dork! So i thought, in the spirit of Christmas and all that, that i would just send him a candy cane in the post telling him i like him, but with my initials at the bottom so he can work out who it is.
Is this creepy and a bad idea?

It sounds a tiny bit creepy and he might think that you’re childish.
Just hand deliver the candy cane and tell him that you like him?
