Cabinet Drawer

I am refinishing a drawer cabinet but I have a problem with the stripping paste?

I bought a stripping paste that supposedly you peel away after it dries, but it dried up hard so now it wont peel away what can I do? I was mainly trying to do something with less effort

Get some lacquer thinner and denatured alcohol mix them 1/2 and 1/2, take 00 steel wool dip it in the mixture and scrub really good. That will take the stripper as well as the old finish off. Make sure you wear gloves, a mask and do it in a well ventilated area. Let dry for 24 hours, sand and refinish
