What would happen if the Great Green Macaw went extinct?

I am writing an essay on the Great green (Buffon’s) Macaw. I need the URLS if u can answer the question. The question: What would happen if the Great Green Macaw became extinct?

Do some research! Find out how the macaws impact their environment, like what they eat, what eats them, maybe they drop half-eaten fruits to the ground for insects and terrestrial animals to eat. The fruits they eat also would distribute the seeds of the fruit trees very long distances since the macaw can fly (plus I guess this species travels farther than most). If the fruit seeds are not deposited far away from their parent trees, the seedlings won’t have enough light to grow, which is especially true in rainforests because they’re so compact. Therefore the trees would lose a valuable distributor of their seeds, maybe threatening the tree species especially if they don’t have many other feeders. Also check out how humans rely on them, maybe for food, feathers, or something. It seems they’re disappearing because their habitat is disappearing. So if they become extinct, so does a major reason to conserve their habitat which other creatures/plants rely on! You should try to get a hold of a conservation program for these birds, too, and I bet they’d be more than happy to tell you a bunch about them!
